Tornadoes Confirmed in Laclede, Ozark Counties

The National Weather Service confirmed weak tornadoes touched down Monday in Laclede and Ozark counties.

The NWS determined an EF-0 tornado struck near Esther Elementary School in Lebanon. The storm tracked east-southeast to the Lebanon Industrial complex. Strong winds overturned a school bus and several homes and businesses saw minor damage in a storm track that was 75 yards wide and one half mile long.

In Ozark County, the NWS determined an EF-0 tornado damaged a turkey barn along County Road 803 one mile west of Highway 5. The twister's path was 20 yards wide and one-tenth of a mile long with winds topping 65 miles per hour.
