Man dies while Kayaking

A man died in far Southwest Missouri Saturday after his kayak overturned.

The Missouri Water Patrol says 51-year old Marion Cox was kayaking on Center Creek in Carl Junction when his vessel hit debris and overturned.

He was thrown into the creek and his body was recovered later that day.
