Arkansas Election Results Still Not Final

By KSPR News

Every Arkansas county but one has reported its results from Tuesday's primary election, when massive storms knocked out electricity in many areas, leading to delayed vote counts.

Craighead County was the only county Friday that hadn't submitted its results from the election, which Republican Mike Huckabee and Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton each won handily.

With 99 percent of precincts reporting unofficial results, Huckabee got 60 percent of the vote, followed by John McCain, who garnered 20 percent. Mitt Romney picked up 13 percent, and Ron Paul got 5 percent.

On the Democratic side, Clinton picked up 70 percent of the vote. Barack Obama got 26 percent.

For the Green Party, "uncommitted" was the top vote getter, at 55 percent.
