In my area there are alot of unqualified supervisors trotting around acting all bossy. We had several that were sexually harrassing women. One tried to file charges but they all made her life miserable so she dropped it. Luckily its never happened to me, thank god! All in all we need to get rid of some of the upper management and hire more clerks that can run the mail. At the moment they refuse to hire anyone...instead they are harassing the people to work faster.

In our area we have a manager that has had four sezual harrasment complaints brought against him. The last one management brow beat the person who brought the charge until she droped it. Their solution to the problem was to transfer the manager to another office. What happened to zero tolerance?

Mustang, I couldn't agree more. I have often said that the PO is just like that "church." They continue to move and promote these kinds of individuals all over the country. The PO also continues to pay large sums of money for EEO complaints and then again moves or promotes the supervisor/manager/postmaster. It has been hard to watch for so many years.I will never understand how the USPS continues to support and promote people that continue to bleed the postal service of its assets and revenue

I knew this man when he was a manager at the main post office in Springfield. Poster child for postal management. When on the few occasions he showed up to work, used to call it "Wayne Spotting." The post office is just like a certain religious group. Instead of fixing the problem they shuffle their problem children off to another post office with LESS supervision. They got what they deserved.

Postmaster General Potter just was given a 39% increase in yearly salary-so you can see there are many ways to steal! The union workers were given a 1% yearly raise!
