Dentist fights eminent domain

By KSPR News

Apparently you can fight city hall. A dentist in Arnold, Missouri is refusing to sell his land to the city for retail development. But city leaders are trying to use eminent domain to take it.

Dr. Homer Tourkakis says he's been fighting for personal property rights for four years. He won his case in state court, but the city is appealing to the Supreme Court saying the development is in the best interest of the community.

A court decision is expected in a few months.
