Air Force Releases F-15 Crash Animation

By KSPR News

The Air Force released an animation reconstructing the cause of a Missouri plane crash last November.

The Air Force found a defective metal beam caused the F-15 to crash.

A report concludes the frame cracked.

A Missouri Air National Guard pilot ejected before it crashed.

The incident led to the grounding of the entire F-15 fleet. Some cleared to return to the air just Wednesday.

An examination found at least 160 more of the aircraft had the same flaw.

I say who ever had the contract to furnish the aircraft should be liable rather than U.S.A.F looking for the sub contractor
