Two Teens Killed in Howell County Accident

A second West Plains teenager died Tuesday after a car crash in Howell County on Monday. Seventeen-year-old Zacharias Boyer was a passenger in a car driven by 17-year-old Spike Gargione who also died in the crash. Both were students at West Plains High School. The crash happened on Highway 14 north of West Plains.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Gargione's vehicle crossed the center-line and struck another car driven by 56-year-old Randy McGinnis. Another passenger in Gargione's vehicle suffered serious injuries and was taken to a Springfield hospital.
