9-year old Rowan Ford of Stella, Missouri is still missing, and at the end of the fifth day of searching, still no solid leads to Rowan's whereabouts.
Search crews are concentrating on Newton County and combed through woods near Rowan's home on Wednesday afternoon.
Rowan's mom, Colleen Spears, is trying to keep hopeful for Rowan's safe return.
"This is Rowan bear," Colleen Spears said as she describes the bear she’s been clutching everyday since Rowan’s disappearance.
Spears holds on tight to the hope that her 9-year-old daughter will be found, but it's been nearly a week since Rowan's disappearance, and the search continues.
Both Newton County Sheriff's Department and the FBI have been interviewing everyone in the home on the night of Rowan's disappearance.
"We're not calling anyone a person of interest or suspect yet, but there on the same token, we haven't eliminated anyone from being a suspect," Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland said.
Stepdad David Spears was the last to see Rowan, but authorities say his story about his whereabouts the night of Rowan's disappearance have not been consistent.
This includes where he was for more than 5 hours with his mom's Suburban early Saturday morning, but David Spears' mom says her son was not involved in Rowan's disappearance.
"If I knew he had done this, I would have turned him in, but he didn't. His only mistake was he left her alone for a little while," Mona Spears said. "He'd cut out his heart before he let anything happen to Rowan."
Rowan's mom says her husband's story just doesn't add up.
"I don't want him here, he initially lied, I don't trust, the trust was broken," Colleen Spears said. "I don't think he did anything, but I don't know… I don't know how long he was gone, if someone came in here, that raises the question, did he do something."
Still, Colleen Spears remains hopeful, but fears the worst.
"If somebody is harming her, oh god, take me instead, she's just a little girl," Colleen Spears said.
Rowan Ford is a little girl that her family and friends want back.
The FBI said as this search continues into the weekend, they ask searching be left to law enforcement.
This is because it is hunting season, and they do not want searchers getting injured.
The FBI also asks hunters watch for any evidence that might help in the investigation, including clothing or any other personal items that look out of place.

I think it is the most ridiculous thing that the dad left her alone at night until 7 a.m. I also find it ridiculous that no one checked on her until her mother came home late that morning! What did they expect, nothing to happen to a helpless 9-year-old girl left alone at home in an unlocked house???

I think you are a terrible mother and Rowan is lucky to be rid of the life you could have given her. As a step mother I don't think this kind of thing could be going on without the mother knowing about it and being in denial.
