Search Underway for Missing Newton County Girl

The Newton County Sheriff's Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol say a missing girl from Newton County may be in danger. In a release issued Sunday afternoon, the Sheriff's Department said Rowan Ford was reported missing on Friday evening and foul play is suspected. Ford is described as a white female, age 9. She is 48" tall and weighs 62 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Newton County Sheriff's Department at (417) 451-8333 or their nearest law enforcement agency.
