New Center Offers Music, Movies

A gathering spot downtown may be just one of the few places there that runs on volunteers and doesn't serve alcohol.

The Front Porch is run by a non-denominational group called Core. The venue features a library, refreshments and live music.

Leaders say they see their hangout as a place where people from all walks of life can be accepted.

The Front Porch needs volunteers to run the place. If you're interested, call 865-CORE.
