SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield police on Sunday morning set up a perimeter around the Signal Foods convenience store near Grand Street at Glenstone Avenue. They were trying to catch the man who they say went into the store and demanded cash.
The robbery was around 8 a.m. Sunday. The man ran away from the store with cash in hand. Police say he did not have a weapon.
