Photos: Officers raid home in north Springfield
Law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a home at 1033 E. Division St., on its northeast corner with Frisco Avenue. A spokesman for the Springfield Police Department wouldn't say what officers thought they would find, but clues at the scene appear to point to an investigation of stolen property. Officers were on the scene for a couple of hours over the noon hour on Wednesday. According to online records of the Greene County assessor, the home is owned by Lisa Garrison.

Judging by the firepower, they were expecting some serious resistance

This isn't the first time this home has been raided. the last time was shortly after the City got the big Crime Van and that time will be like this one: After a few days it will be Book & Release for the owner who was part of the active greene County jail population yesterday; thanks to the cities redevelopment loan she can take her equity in the home as bond and walk away & perhaps string a charge along using a public defender for a coupla years; demanding any number of Pre-Trial Conferences and venue changes till it will all quietly fade away. What the heck she has been milking the system all along and has nothing to loose. This is just one of many of the small and large crime ring headquarters, that are tolerated till Ole' Chief Wiggums needs a Boost in his Public Image.
