Springfield school for disabled children evacuated after sparks from furnace

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Smoke from a small electrical spark forced an evacuation of the Greene Valley State School in Springfield Monday afternoon.

Firefighters say wires sparked in a motor of a furnace in the basement.  The smoke from the furnace spark filled the upstairs, setting off fire alarms.

Nobody was hurt.
