HARRISON, Ark. -- A teenager from Bergman is accused of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. Boone County Sheriff Danny Hickman says Joseph Weiser, 19, admitted he raped the girl.
After receiving a complaint last Monday, investigators interviewed the girl at a child advocacy center in Harrison, and then arrested and interviewed Weiser. During the interview, Hickman says, Weiser also admitted he fondled a 12-year-old boy.
Weiser is charged with four counts of rape and second-degree sexual assault. He was in the Boone County jail on Wednesday in lieu of a $150,000 bond.
