Detective uncovers possible lead in Springfield's "three missing women" case

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A McDonald County Sheriff's detective says she may have come across a possible break in the two-decade old case of three missing women in Springfield.

Sherill Levitt, Suzy Streeter and Stacy McCall disappeared in June 1992.  Detective Lorie Howard says she interviewed a man in another cold case.  She believes that investigation may have turned up a new lead in the three missing women case.

Detectives in the state of Indiana are investigating the same man for another cold case.
