Crime Stoppers unsolved crime of the week: Assault at grocery store in NW Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Crime Stoppers and the Springfield Police Department ask for help in identifying the people in this photograph.  Springfield police are investigating an assault and attempted robbery at the Neighborhood Market, 3536 W. Mt. Vernon St., on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013.  The people in the photo are persons of interest.

If you were in the area of these crimes and saw any suspicious people or vehicles at these times, or if you know the people in the photo, you can call Crime Stoppers at (417) 869-TIPS (8477), submit your tip on-line at www.tipsubmit.com, or text “417SPD plus your message” to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tipsters do not have to give their name and could earn a reward.
