LAMAR, Mo. -- The Arkansas Razorbacks land a potential walk-on from southwest Missouri.
Lamar High School senior offensive lineman Austin Boice announced on Twitter Monday night he will attend the University of Arkansas. Rivals.com reports Boice will likely be a walk-on in his freshman season.
"Well, just got done having a conversation with Coach Pittman from U of A, and made my decision to play at Arkansas, official," said Boice.
The 6-7, 300-pound lineman had drawn interest from several area schools. Boice played both sides of the ball for the Tigers. Lamar won back-to-back Class 2 state championships in the lineman's junior and senior seasons.
National Signing Day is Wednesday.
