CALICO ROCK, Ark. -- A 30-year-old man was shot to death near Calico Rock. Sheriff Tate Lawrence says Josh Loosey was found dead on Thursday night in a wooded area.
Lawrence said deputies detained a man and a woman for the fatal shooting, though no one was charged by Friday afternoon. Loosey's body was sent to the Arkansas Crime Laboratory for an autopsy.
The sheriff says the shooting may have been a result of a land dispute. He says officers have recovered two weapons and the investigation continues.
