MIDWAY, Ark. -- The Baxter County sheriff won't say how a 20-year-old man died at a home near Midway on Wednesday night. The death is a homicide, however, and about 10 detectives are interviewing people and executing search warrants at three homes.
Sheriff John Montgomery says emergency call-takers received a report about the death at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. The home is at 1251 Arkansas 178 West, northwest of Midway.
The sheriff says he hopes to release more details, including the victim's name, on Thursday. He said late Thursday morning that no one has been arrested for the death.
