Winter Weather Update

Wintry Precip Pushing Out

It looks like the wintry precipitation is slowly moving out of the Ozarks. While there is still plenty of heavy sleet and freezing rain in our eastern counties, areas to the west are now reporting just spotty activity. Some dry air is punching through this system, so things will gradually decrease in the next few hours.

In fact, the National Weather Service has dropped some of Arkansas counties from the Winter Storm Warning, and now have modified it to a Winter Weather Advisory. I expect a similar scenario for portion of western Missouri.
