SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The National Weather Service issues a Winter Weather Advisory for much of the Ozarks for Saturday evening into Sunday morning.
I-44 south to Branson should expect rain this afternoon to become mixed with or change to freezing rain and sleet. Snow showers should follow through the night. Counties to the north of I-44 should expect the best shot for snow.
The advisory does not include our far southeast counties. The National Weather Service issued a flood watch for that area, expected to receive heavy rain instead of winter precipitation.
