This week's Wednesday's Child is 15-year-old Tessa.  She is an active teen in need of a loving and stable forever family.

Tessa really enjoys being outside, likes to show off skills she has learned, loves animals and has been described as a little bit of a tomboy.  This enthusiastic, bubbly young woman can be found drawing, listening to country music, reading, writing stories and riding horses.

Her favorite types of books are fictional novels, such as the Twilight series.  She is a spirited, charming and bright girl who thrives on one-on-one attention.

Communication is a strong point for her and she will keep you informed of her likes and dislikes. She is currently in the eighth grade. Tessa benefits from counseling, which will need to continue after placement.  This lovable lass desires that her forever parents be a married couple.

The caseworker prefers a two-parent or single-mother home for Tessa, but all family types will be considered.  Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
