This week's Wednesday's Child is Nicholas, a free-spirited, charming and intelligent young man with a kind personality.

Nicholas goes by Nick, he is friendly and enjoys spending time with his peers.  Nick is known to be quite the helpful teen.  If he is not helping his friends, then it is almost guaranteed that he is making them feel good about who they are.

This athlete and big sports fan, is very goal oriented and loves thinking about the future.  In the ninth grade, Nicholas does well academically and is motivated to graduate high school and college.  Nick says he would like to be a doctor.

Positivity can be seen on his face, anytime he is spending quality time with his caregivers.  Nick benefits from counseling, which will need to continue after placement.

The caseworker will consider all family types.  Nick would do best in a family who will support his education needs and encourage continued contact with his biological family.  Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.

This is a legal risk adoptive placement.  In a legal risk placement, it is expected that the family will eventually adopt the child, even though the birth parents' rights have not been fully terminated at the time of placement.
