If you enjoy the outdoorsy type of kid, you will be pleased to make the acquaintance of Charles, or "CJ". Not only does he love to fish and go for walks, he also likes to get moving by playing sports and riding his bicycle. Luckily he is friendly, likeable and personable so he has friends to join him in his favorite activities.

This active fifth grader participates in counseling, which will need to continue after placement. CJ is also on an IEP (Individualized Education Plan). It is expected that he will require some assistance as an adult, but with a caring family a great life is definitely in the cards for him!

CJ expresses that he would like to have a mother and father of his own; his caseworker agrees that a two-parent family would be best. However, all types of families will be considered for this special kiddo. A home where the rules and expectations are clear and the parents loving and patient would be ideal. He would like to maintain contact with a mentor and his former CASA. Financial assistance may be available for adoption-related services.
