Today, highs again getting above average for January. We'll see mid and upper 50s across the Ozarks, while lows dip just to the mid and upper 30s. There is a slight chance of an isolated shower to the south, but otherwise the rain should hold off for Wednesday.
Speaking of, Wednesday and Thursday features rain, and a lot of it.

A low from the south will swoop in, bringing in showers and a few embedded thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon through much of Thursday. Areas east of Springfield will receive 1 to 3 inches of much needed rain. Things seem to clear out for Friday, with highs in the upper 50s and even low 60s. The weekend features another storm system...but this one will drop our temps a good 15 to 20 degrees leading into Sunday.
