SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - U.S. Marshals are searching for Keith Alan Webb. Webb was convicted in federal court of conspiracy to manufacture and distribute methamphetamine in 2005. That conviction came more than 15 years after his first run in with officers.
Along the way, Webb has been charged and convicted several times of violations of probation and supervised release. After that federal conviction, a judge sentenced Webb to 5 years in prison and 8 years supervised release. When he was released from prison, Webb was given a bus ticket to Columbia, Missouri, and told to report to a probation officer and reside in a halfway house.
Deputy U.S. Marshal Mike Walker said, "Keith never showed up to the halfway house. Keith never reported to his probation officer, and to date, nobody has heard from Keith."
Once again, Webb was charged with violating the terms of his release.
Marshals fear Webb is committing crimes to support his drug habit. Walker said, "Keith is likely supporting himself through criminal activity, most likely property crimes, thefts from vehicles, residential burglaries, that sort of thing."
Webb is 5'10", 190 pounds, has blue eyes, brown hair and numerous tattoos. If you know where he is, call the U.S. Marshals at (417) 831-0588.
