SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A Springfield barbecue hot spot will remain closed until further notice to make repairs following a fire.
Fire officials say the employees of Buckingham's on Glenstone Avenue at Kearney Street first smelled smoke Tuesday night. Firefighters found the fire near the attic. Eleven fire trucks responded to the fire.
The building has extensive water and smoke damage.
