NEAR LAMPE, Mo. -- A search warrant uncovers new evidence in the murders of a Stone County couple in late January.

Authorities arrested two juveniles in the deaths of Brian Brooks, 70, and Susan Brooks, 69.  They remain in custody at the Greene County Juvenile Detention Center.

Authorities found the couple dead at their son's lake home near Lampe, Missouri January 31.  A neighbor alerted authorities that night around 5:45 p.m.  Stone County Sheriff's deputies arrested the teens outside the lake home shortly after arrivivng to the crime scene.  The teens ran away from the nearby Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch on the evening of January 29.  The boys ranch operators reported them missing immediately.

A search warrant reveals the couple were stabbed and beaten to death in the kitchen of the home, then taken to a bedroom.  Authorities say they found prescription drugs belonging to the Brooks' on the teen suspects as well as one of the victim's identification.

Investigators took a swab of their cheeks for DNA evidence and collected a blood sample.  At the time of the blood sample, authorities say one of the teen's asked, " Why do you have to do that, I told you I already killed them."  Investigators say they also took pictures of the teenagers hands to show bruising from the couple's beating.

Trash was also removed from the home as evidence.
