RIGHT NOW

Rain/freezing rain is likely today

with *snow* overnight

Today will be a mix bag of rain/freezing rain/sleet/ and snow. This activity will start a little after the lunch hour and continue through overnight tonight. It'll be rain first pushing from the south and west. Around 6pm or so, we'll be getting cold enough to see some freezing rain and sleet mixing with the rain. Because of this, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Northern Arkansas through early Wednesday morning.

As temperatures drop further, snow will begin around 11pm/midnight. Accumulations across the Ozarks will vary from a dusting to up to 2 inches.

Your morning commute Wednesday will be dicey as the road conditions could be less than favorable. Everything should melt though by the afternoon due to temperatures pushing near 40.
