Pictures: Police investigate early morning homicide
The body of a white male was found in an apartment in the 400 block of East Elm Thursday morning. He was not a resident of the apartment, and it is currently unclear why he was there. Springfield Police believe the man died from a gun shot wound. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
