Pictures: Man Arrested After High Speed Chase Through South Springfield
Around 3:30 Wednesday afternoon, police began pursuing a vehicle on James River Freeway that they believed may have been stolen. Speeds reached 115mph at times before the suspect vehicle left the highway and began driving north along a set of railroad tracks just west of U.S. 65. After about 150 yards, two suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot. One was apprehended a short time later, while the other is still at large.
