Periods of Snow, Freezing Rain, and Rain Today

Dusting to 2" in Springfield expected

Today is going to be a *mixed bag* of everything. What I mean is we'll start with snow, then freezing rain and sleet, then we'll see light rain by the middle of the afternoon. After that, as temps cool back to the freezing mark, we'll see sleet/freezing rain near 5pm, then converting back to light snow for the overnight hours.

Everything should be gone by early Tuesday morning as our cold front moves east. Accumulations will be small in Springfield and up to 4 - 5" areas near Kansas city. The rest of the week is more calm and dry with highs in the 30s for Wednesday, and 40s returning for the weekend.
