BRANSON, MO - Former Clever head coach Brian McTague was officially announced as Branson's new boys basketball coach Thursday night at the Branson School Board meeting.
McTague replaces Randy Bishop, who left last month to accept a similar position in Lawrenceville, Illinois.
McTague led Clever to a a pair of final four appearances (2008, 3rd place and 2010, 4th place), earning SWCL Coach of the Year both seasons.
He was also previously an assistant at Glendale High School.
Branson Athletic Director Tony Berry said the Central Office will make a full release Friday morning.
