Cold Front Pushes Through Ozarks

A cold front is working it's way through the Ozarks. It started near Kansas City this morning and will be impacting the Springfield area closer to the lunch hour.

No severe weather is expected at this time. We could see some stronger wind gusts and locally heavy rainfall. About 0.5 to 1" of rain is possible. The activity should end near the 7pm time frame.

Clouds will be clearing overnight, leading to a cooler start Friday morning. Highs Friday will push close to 50 degrees. Saturday is shaping up to be decent, with mostly cloudy skies and highs above average. Sunday and early Monday features another storm system that could bring strong storms to much of the area.
