The cold front has moved through most of the Ozarks. Highs will top out early this morning in the 40's and 50's and then cool to the 30's through the day and then 20's this evening. Precipitation will develop this morning to our northwest and then expand across the area. There is a Winter Weather Advisory for all of Missouri. It goes from 3pm to Sunday 6am for Benton, Morgan, Vernon, St. Clair, Hickory, Barton, and Cedar Counties. Most of the other counties including Greene the advisory goes from 6pm to Sunday 6am. For Howell, Shannon, Ozark, and Oregon Counties it goes from Midnight to 9am.

It will start as rain and then start to switch to freezing rain late afternoon and evening from northwest to southeast. After 9pm the freezing rain will start to transition to sleet/snow. To the north there will be light snowfall accumulations since the precipitation will switch to snow quicker. Most of us will see ice accumulations of 0.1" - 0.2".

Roads will be very slick late afternoon/evening into early Sunday morning. Be very careful if you have to travel.
