SPRINGFIELD, MO - Hillcrest senior 3-sport star Dorial Green-Beckham picked up a couple more honors Thursday. The 6-6, 220 pound top recruit named USA Today Offensive Player of the Year and an ESPN All-American.
DGB set the national career receiving yards record during his senior season, finishing with 6,447 yards. He also broke his own state records with 2,233 yards, 119 catches, and 24 touchdowns in 2011.
Green-Beckham remains undecided on his college future, but has narrowed his choices to 5 schools: Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
The long list of honors for Green-Beckham already includes: 2010 MaxPreps National Athlete of the Year, 3-time Gatorade Missouri Player of the Year, Sporting News National Athlete of the Year, and U.S. Army All-American Player of the Year finalist.
He is also the leading scorer for the Hornets basketball team, currently ranked #1 in class 4 for the state of Missouri.
