Today, some residual snow on the backside of that low pressure from Tuesday will fall areas north of highway 44. In Springfield, an occasional flurry or two cannot be ruled out.

This pattern will continue through much of Thursday and ending on Friday. Highs throughout that time will be pushing the mid 30s, at best. The sunshine and warmer temperatures return by Sunday. The next storm system to affect the Ozarks is slated for Monday night and into Tuesday.
