Karson Scribner was 16 months old when he was shaken, causing Karson's scalp to tear away from his skull. Britni Tyra, Karson's father's girlfriend at the time, has entered an Alford plea, in which she didn't admit guilt but conceded prosecutors have enough evidence to convict her. (Karson has recovered from his injuries, but still has some vision issues.)
