Nixon Appoints Several Ozarkers to State Boards, Commissions

A Rogersville man has been appointed by Gov. Jay Nixon to the state Coordinating Board for Higher Education.
Daniel McCool, 31, runs Ozark Therapy Institute. He's worked as a speech pathologist at several area schools.
Also named Wednesday by Nixon:
-Reggis Hoskins, 62, Springfield, to the Missouri Workforce Investment Board. Hoskins works for Kraft Foods.
-Ken Meyer, 81, Springfield, to the Missouri Wine and Grape Board. Meyer owns a vineyard in Mount Vernon, and runs Meyer Communications, a local media company.
-Dr. Benjamin Lampert, 53, Springfield, to the State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts. Lampert is medical director of pain management at St. John's Regional Health Center.
-Mark Skrade, 53, Rogersville, to the State Committee of Psychologists. Skrade is president of the School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute.
-Stephen Snead, 56, Turners, to the State Lottery Commission. Snead is a lawyer at Wallace, Saunders, Austin, Brown and
Enochs in Springfield.
