Woman Claims Attack Attempt in Branson

Branson police say they're looking for a man who reportedly attacked a jogger in the tourist town.

The Hollister woman, 48, told police she was jogging along a trail between Stockstill Park and Skaggs Orthopedic Associates on Cahill Drive when the man approached her and struck up a brief conversation -- then grabbed her.

"Following a brief struggle, the woman managed to get away with no injuries, and the (man) ran into nearby woods rowards Roark Creek," says Branson Police Chief Caroll McCullough.

Suspect description: Hispanic man, 25-30 years old, about 5'-5" and stocky, The woman said he had wavy dark hair and was wearing a white tank-top T-shirt and blue shorts.
