A West Plains man pleaded guilty in federal court to being part of a conspiracy to operate an illegal gambling business.
Morris Guy Ramseur, 62, admitted he was involved in the business from May 1997 to January 2005. The business included quarter slide machines and video poker and slots.
Prosecutors say the illegal scheme operated in Howell, Wright, Texas, Oregon and Douglas counties.
Ramseur faces up to five years in prison, plus a fine of up to a quarter-million dollars.
