We'll probably never know how his rebuilt but still powerful right arm would've done against major league hitters on a consistent basis. But he had one of the best seasons ever by a Phillies Triple-A closer in 2010 (26 saves, a 2.80 ERA, 83 Ks in 64.1 innings). And despite being used in a variety of roles last year, he still racked up a 3.28 ERA. He's now the closer for the most legendary Japanese team, the Yomiuri Giants.
