Pole Vault
World No. 1 Jennifer Suhr of the United States vaulted into a tie for first place in Saturday's qualifier, clearing the qualifying height of 14 feet 11 inches on her first attempt. Suhr will try to unseat Russia's two-time gold medalist Elena Isinbaeva in the final, Monday Aug. 6.
