"High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale performed one song three times for a small crowd at the "Extreme Makeover:Home Edition" site in western Greene County.
Organizers had said Tisdale would perform a concert for all of the spectators. However, Tuesday's rains required a change in plans.
A stage set up by Down Home Productions was fenced off and untouched for the day. Tisdale performed inside the garage of the new home of Chris & Niki Hampton and their children.
The crowd of several dozens included volunteers on the EM:HE build, people with ties to builder Millstone Custom Homes and kids from the Musgrave unit of the Boys & Girls Club. Some of the Hampton children attend Musgrave.
Tisdale has a new album and movie coming out next week.
