All week the stars of Extreme Makeover Home Edition worked the crowd of spectators to show them just how much they are appreciated.

"Those are our heroes.  Those are our stars," said designer Paige Hemmis.

She is among those working on the Hampton home, and says while the crowd support on the site has been nice, it's time to gear up for Tuesday's big reveal.

"Have you ever seen it when we move the bus and there is like two people out there?  No!  We need lots and lots of people.  They are important today, but they are also important to come out and help us move that bus," said Hemmis.

Friends of the Hampton family couldn't agree more. Just ask Kyle Wallace, one of Dakota's best friends.

"Very important.  That way we can support them, and show them that we've been here, and trying to be helpful," said Wallace.

But before the Tuesday finale, many in the crowd of spectators simply want a chance to catch a glimpse of their favorite stars.

"Ty....Michael...Ashley Tisdale...and Micheal, yeah," said one group of teen girls.

Even the smallest of fans are excited by what the show is bringing to the community.

"It's really nice that she's building  houses for people that are in bad conditions," said Bailey Lynn.

And on the days when even the show's designers feel like giving up, it's the extra push from the spectators that help the show make it to the grand finale.

"When you come outside, sometimes you just feel like collapsing.  You are so tired.  Then, you hear the crowd.  You see the crowd.  You feel that energy, and all of a sudden you're like I can go on.  I can do it again," said Hemmis.

They are urging everyone to come out early on Tuesday if you want to be a part of the Move the Bus segment.

The Hampton family is expected home between noon and 2:00 p.m.
