Name: Brookstone Pocket Projector for iPhone 4 Device
What it is: A palm-size combination pocket projector and backup charger for your iPhone 4 or 4S. The Pocket Projector for iPhone 4 features a 15-lumen LED projector lamp to ensure clear images. With DLP Pico technology, it can project images as large as 50 inches diagonally. A focus wheel lets you sharpen the images, and an integrated 0.5-watt speaker delivers audio. Charging is via USB port.
The good: This little projector is the perfect iPhone 4 companion because it both entertains and recharges an iPhone 4 or 4S. The focus adjustment is easy to use, and the sound quality is good. The only challenge can be finding a blank, lightly colored, nontextured wall for projecting your videos. It has been a lifesaver for recharging my phone while traveling. (If you use Bluetooth or Wi-Fi with your iPhone, a backup battery is a travel essential.) The picture quality is great, considering the Pocket Projector has only 15 lumens. It works with headphones too so you can watch a video in public without the audio disturbing others. Though I didn't manage to test it on the seat back of a plane, if the person in front of you doesn't recline too much, it could even be fun on airlines that provide no entertainment.
The bad: It isn't as bright as some larger projectors, but it is far more portable. As always, I'd prefer a lower price (under $200).
