The 2009 St. Jude Dream Home is located in the Lions Gate Subdivision in south Springfield. The address is 1515 W. Gaslight Drive.

This year's home includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an oversized three car garage. It's valued at $375,000 and has 3,384 square feet.

This Dream Home is a little different from those in the past. This year's is a "women-centric" home. Builder Sam Bradley of Sam Bradley Homes said that means the home will focus on the four basic areas women look for in a home: areas for distressing, areas for entertaining, extra storage, and rooms with flexible uses.

This year's home is one and a half stories and does not have a basement. The home comes with a flat screen TV and stereo system thanks to Stereo One.

The master bedroom is pretty big with extra room for a reading area. The master bath is also very large and even includes a shower with multiple shower heads.

Outside you'll find an additional cooking and storage area. This includes extra cabinets and a grill from Maschino's. The home also features three porch areas.

As you enter the Dream Home you'll find storage area to hang coats, backpacks and purses. You'll also find an area to sort your mail and even charge your cell phone.

The home also has many energy efficient features. The heating and air conditioning system uses an ERV, or Energy Recovery Ventilator. The home also has foam insulation and a sealed crawl space.

This year's Dream Home uses City Utilities for all utilities. It's located within the Wanda Gray Elementary and Kickapoo High School boundaries.

Tours of the Dream Home are going on right now. It's open Saturdays from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon- 5 p.m.
