Photos: Abandoned Polar Bear Makes Zoo Debut
The Alaska Zoo invited the media to see the first viewing of a polar bear abandoned by its mother on the North Slope. Zoo and Fish and Wildlife officials said they were pleased that the female cub was not skittish with people viewing her.
