Shallow Breathers Laugh it Off

By KSPR News

Laughing may not only brighten your mood, it may help better your health.

In Sacramento people with breathing difficulties are laughing it off.

Laugh coaches lead them in a cackling class called Laughysema.

Participants force themselves to laugh.

Respiratory therapists say it isn't only a laughing situation, but the best medicine for those with shallow breaths, because laughter is an exhale.

Giggling goes beyond health concerns. If you're stressed, just fake it.

The brain doesn't know the difference between a real roaring laughter and a fake one.

Another interesting note, a good one minute belly laugh is equal to 10 minutes of cardiovascular exercise.
