In a KSPR Daily Download segment we discussed indoor tanning. In our Medical Checkup segment we told you about the potential health risks associated with indoor tanning. Those risks included melanoma and exposure to HPV and warts. After our story aired a trade group representing tanning saloons saw our story online and wrote us. They said "no study has linked tanning in a non-burning fashion with melanoma risk."

“I think tanning is not dangerous unless you do it in moderation. Obviously it depends on skin tone and if you have stds.”
